Acoustik Element - Live Music at Crisp Museum

Acoustik Element - Live Music at Crisp Museum

The Crisp Museum will host a music performance by Acoustik Element from 4 to 8 p.m. on September 5 in conjunction with the opening of the Exhibition Shutter and Sound: The Jazz Photography of Bob Willoughby.

This is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.

Farshid Soltanshahi (guitar), Joey Ferber (Guitar, and Gabe Bonfili (Percussion) will entertain you with ‘A Latin Vibe’ as 3 members of Acoustik Element (AE). Their sound revolves around the nylon-string guitar, and they are best known for reinventing popular songs by artists such as The Beatles, Santana, The Eagles, etc., while also staying true to Latin and Jazz standards.

AE specializes in creating the right atmosphere for the event. For the livelier function, they utilize 3 to 6 members creating an energetic, upbeat vibe. For the softer dinner setting, AE uses 1 to 3 members performing ambient background music. AE was the house band, performing every Wednesday night from 2005 to 2018, at Barcelona Tapas. In 2013, they performed before the legendary Carlos Santana at the Peabody Opera House. Acoustik Element has released 5 CD’s and 1 DVD.

This event is made possible with support from the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
