Celebrate wine and food with someone special at "A Taste of Romance" at the Mississippi River Hills Wine trail wineries, with a wine and food pairing at Apple Creek Vineyard and Winery, The Barrens Winery, Hunter Valley Winery and Hemman Winery on Saturday February 25th.

In addition to the 121,000 square feet of soccer fields and basketball and volleyball courts are headed your way inside the Cape Girardeau Sportsplex and the Courtyard by Marriott taking shape inside the historic H&H Building in downtown cape Girardeau, a brand new Drury property is taking shape in the footprint of the old Drury Lodge. The Drury Plaza Hotel and Conference Center is scheduled to open this summer, and will include over 160 rooms with 14,000+ square feet of adjacent meeting space. An attached restaurant is also in the works.
