"Four Days of Giving" Official Rules

Any entry to KRCU between December 1, 2020 and December 10, 2020 will be entered into the “Four Days of Giving” drawings.

HOW TO ENTER: Enter anytime between December 1, 2020 and approximately 5:30 p.m. CT December 10, 2020. Participants may call (573) 651-5070 to enter or enter the drawing using this online entry form: Fill out my online form.

Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries, if discovered, will be disqualified. No contribution or purchase is necessary to participate and making a gift does not automatically enter you in the drawings. A pledge will not improve your chances of winning.

ELIGIBILITY: Drawings and ticket giveaways are offered only in the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) to legal residents of the U.S., except for employees of KRCU, University Advancement Division employees (and the immediate families and members of the same household of such employees) volunteer program hosts and members of the Community Advisory Board, who may not enter.

PRIZES:  Prizes will include:

• The Comfy Cozy Package: A dark gray, fleece, KRCU logo embroidered blanket and a Public Radio Nerd mug. (Retail value is $)

• NPR Coffee Club Subscription: Receive delicious, roasted-to-order coffee right to your doorstep. 2 bags total with each shipment per month for 3 months. (Retail value is $38.00)

• The At-Home Chef Package: A KRCU logo embroidered apron, a "Stirring Words" cookbook, and a bamboo spoon set. (Retail value is $)

• The Peaceful Puzzler Package: NPR's "Sound Community" 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle and a pair of Public Radio Nerd socks. (Retail value is $35.95)

Winners are responsible for any and all costs associated with using the prize. Prize is non transferable, is not good for cash, and cannot be exchanged for other merchandise. Winners will receive delivery of the prize as arranged by KRCU.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: Every eligible entry will be included in the drawings. Beginning on Monday, December 7, 2020 at approximately 5:30 p.m., one (1) winner will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries for the prize for the day, the final winner will be drawn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 10; winners not drawn will remain in the prize drum for remaining drawings. You can only win once during “Four Days of Giving.” Winners will be notified by e-mail or phone and be announced on-air on KRCU.

If KRCU is unable to reach a winner or a winner is unable to accept the prize by 2:00 p.m. CT on Monday, December 14, 2020, then that unawarded prize will go to the first available backup thereof until the prize is awarded. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries.

GRAND PRIZES: The value of the prize is considered taxable income and the winner will be solely responsible for any income taxes resulting from acceptance of the prize, if applicable.

CONDITIONS: KRCU is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure of KRCU to receive entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. KRCU is also not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials from a web site. KRCU reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel drawing in its entirety, if it becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention. In that event, KRCU will select the winner from all eligible entries prior to exercising its rights to suspend or cancel the sweepstakes and will post notification of cancellation on www.krcu.org. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

GENERAL: By participating in this Giveaway, participants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and that KRCU Public Radio and related organizations, their agents, volunteers and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize, or by participation in the giveaway. KRCU Public Radio or its related organizations may use the winner's name and likeness for advertising, fundraising, promotional or publicity purposes without further compensation. Expenses as a result of winning this prize are the responsibility of the winner.

RESTRICTIONS: By participating in this giveaway, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the giveaway sponsor.
