St. Francis Healthcare System will offer free skin cancer screenings on April 11.

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States, affecting millions of Americans every year. About one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime. The screenings are in conjunction with the American Academy of Dermatology’s SPOT me program.

The free skin cancer screenings will take place Saturday, April 11, from 8 a.m. to noon at Cape Radiation Oncology at Entrance 6 of St. Francis Medical Center. Appointments are required.
