SoutheastHEALTH will host a free skin cancer screening on August 19.
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the U. S. and worldwide. The most serious form of skin cancer is melanoma. One in five Americans will develop skin cancer by the age of 70, but when detected early, many skin cancers can be cured.
The free skin cancer screening will be held on Saturday, August 19, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Southeast Cancer Center in Cape Girardeau. Space is limited and registration is required.
