Family Weekend at Fort D Historic Site

Labor Day Weekend, September 2-4, 9 am - 3 pm

In the fall of 1861 soldiers and civilians were laboring to complete Fort D. 162 years later the fort will be busy once again. Join local Civil War reenactors in a variety of activities appropriate for families. Activities will include infantry and artillery drills, knapsack packing, tent set up, children’s games, and a fact hunt. New recruits and the public are welcome! Admission is free.
