"The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution" Continues Discussion on Race Relations In America

With their larger than life afros, slick black leather jackets and militarized movements, the Black Panthers became an iconic symbol during the civil rights movement. But the film, the Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolutiontakes an unfamiliar look into the infamous party and their hopes of restoring power to the black community. KRCU’s Marissanne Lewis-Thompson captured sounds at a local watch party for the film for this audio postcard.
