KRCU Public Radio Public Documents

KRCU Public Radio makes accessible a series of public documents, including our audited financial statements. These documents are made available as part of our responsibility to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which provides a portion of our annual support. The annual financial statement is the audited, approved document which includes narrative and financial detail. Also included are documents that contain other detail and policy information which is to be made available to the public.

Governing Board

KRCU Public Radio (KRCU/KSEF/KDMC) is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to the Board of Governors of Southeast Missouri State University.

Governing Board Open Meeting Information

It is the policy of Southeast Missouri State University, licensee of stations KRCU, KDMC and KSEF, that meetings of its Board of Governors and Board Committees that relate to public broadcasting are open to the public, although certain meetings, or portions of meetings, may be closed in order to address confidential or proprietary matters. It is KRCU Public Radio policy to announce on-air any meeting which includes station-specific agenda items.

Station Activities Survey Report

Each year KRCU Public Radio provides a report to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting's activities on behalf of the public.  These include programming, production, community outreach, educational events, among other criteria.  The files below represent the reports filed with CPB for the Station Activities Survey for the most recent reporting period.

IRS 990:
Southeast Missouri State University, licensee of KRCU, KDMC and KSEF is not required to file an IRS Form 990.

KRCU Public Radio does not employ any "highly compensated employees" as defined by the language of Form 990.

Public File Documents

Each FCC station licensee is required each quarter to identify issues of importance to its community, and the specific programming it has broadcast in response to those issues during the preceding quarter.

Effective March 1, 2018, public inspection files for all stations are posted on the Federal Communications Commission website.
