Today on KRCU’s Going Public we’re diving into the presidential and state races with Jason Sides, Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, Philosophy and Religion at Southeast. Also, Missouri will have a new lieutenant governor next year. Democrat Russ Carnahan and Republican Mike Parson are competing for the job in what’s been a low-key race so far. Later on in the show, Cape Girardeau Police Chief Wes Blair joins me in the studio to talk about the newly implemented crisis intervention training for his officers.
