  This week on KRCU’s Going Public, a controversial piece of the Republican health care plan that passed the U-S House of Representatives brings back an old program to cover people with pre-existing conditions: High-risk pools. But patients who used them say they were expensive. What are risk pools, and how do they work? Then hospitals and patients alike say the shortage of mental health professionals in Missouri has reached crisis levels. We’ll hear more on what this all means for Missourians.
