Last weekend President Donald Trump issued an executive order banning refugees from 7 Muslim-majority countries. The end result was chaos and confusion. Especially for those who weren’t refugees. We’ll hear from Southeast President Dr. Carlos Vargas on how the university is addressing the ban for its international students. Then Missouri lawmakers gave final approval to right to work Thursday, capping off a long battle between organized labor and business-friendly legislators. Unions are wondering what’s next. Also, the state budget. We’ll get into that too. And later on in the show KRCU’s Dan Woods speaks with Southeast President Dr. Carlos Vargas about a draft policy on tobacco use at the university and his goals for Southeast in 2017.
