How Do Homeschooling Regulations Measure Up?

Steve Kraske discusses the issues of homeschooling with his guests.

About 3.4 percent of American students are homeschooled these days, but in states like Kansas and Missouri, homeschoolers get little -- if any -- oversight from any authority. It's up to parents to decide on what and how to teach, and that worries those who think it may be time for some level of regulation.

Guests:

  • Dr. Robert Kunzman, managing director for the International Center for Home Education Research
  • Kyle Palmer, KCUR reporter
  • Scott Woodruff, senior counsel for the Home School Legal Defense Association
