The Scott County sheriff’s office arrested a Sikeston doctor for sexual assault this weekend.
Dr. Rajesh Malhotra is charged with deviate sexual assault and three counts of sexual misconduct in the first degree.
A female patient approached law enforcement last week after Dr. Malhotra allegedly touched her inappropriately and sent her lewd text messages.
A second victim came forward this week. Investigators later identified a dozen additional victims.
Bond has been set for $75,000.
