On this edition of Going Public, we're talking with local historian, Dr. Frank Nickell and Jim Martin, President of the Board for the Stars and Stripes Museum in Bloomfield. They stopped by to tell us more about their upcoming event "The Spirit of Democracy."

The event will be held on Saturday, November 16 at the A. C. Brase Arena Building in Cape Girardeau. The doors open at 6:00 p.m. The keynote speakers are Governor Mike Parson and Max Lederer, Publisher of the Stars and Stripes military newspaper. Entertainment will be provided by The Jerry Ford Orchestra.
