The accolades for the 2018 SEMO Football team continue to pour in on the heels of a historic season for the Redhawks.

This week, the Associated Press announced that three Redhawks earned All-American honors. Linebacker Zach Hall earned First Team All-America Honors, while running back Marquis Terry and offensive tackle Drew Forbes earned second team recognition. It is the first time in school history that three SEMO Football athletes earn Associated Press All-America honors in the same season.

The Redhawks Football team’s historic season came to an end last weekend in the second round of the FCS Playoffs. The SEMO Football team scored first and put up 23 points, but ultimately lost the number-two seed in the country, Weber State.

Hundreds of SEMO alumni and fans packed sports bars throughout the Cape Girardeau area and even in St. Louis, gathering together to cheer on the Redhawks as they extended their season following the first FCS Playoff win in school history the week before.
