Tuesday's total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Cape County rose by 23 from Monday to 471, according to the Cape Girardeau Department of Public Health. Probable cases remained at 44, and active cases rose by 23 to 237. Overall cases rose by 23 to 515. The number of recoveries remains at 275. There were 157 cases outside of Cape and Jackson, 270 were within the City of Cape, and 88 were within the city of Jackson.
