Two-Minute Drill: SEMO Basketball Schedules Released

Southeast Athletics

SEMO Athletics has released its men’s and women’s basketball schedules for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

SEMO's men's basketball team will play a 27-game schedule with 12 matchups at the Show Me Center this upcoming 2020-21 season. The women have 25 regular-season games scheduled, including 14 at the Show Me Center.

SEMO men tips off its first season under Head Coach Brad Korn at the Negro League Baseball Museum Tip-Off Classic in Kansas City, Missouri on Nov. 27-28. Afterward, they’ll return to Cape Girardeau for home games with longtime rival Southern Illinois on Dec. 2 and Lipscomb on Dec. 7.

The defending OVC Tournament champion Redhawks women will tip off the season at home against Missouri Baptist on Nov. 28, followed home games versus University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (Dec. 1), Eastern Michigan (Dec. 6), and Western Illinois (Dec. 11).

The Redhawks men will open their 20-game OVC schedule at UT Martin on Dec. 12, and then the Skyhawks men and women will visit Cape Girardeau for a Friday night doubleheader on Dec. 18.

Teams will follow approved safety protocols established in partnership with the NCAA's Core Principles of Resocialization of Collegiate Basketball and OVC guidance as it evolves based on science.

In accordance with COVID-19 protocols, capacity at the Show Me Center will be reduced with proper social distancing between seating groups.

Season tickets for the 2020-21 SEMO Basketball season are on sale now by calling the Athletic Ticket Office, and they are available for Upper Level Reserved Seats only. Lower Level season tickets are sold out.
