Southeast to Host Free Workshop on Preserving Family Heirlooms

Southeast Missouri State University

"What's in your attic?" That's a question being asked by Kent Library at Southeast Missouri State University as they host a workshop on preserving and caring for artifacts and family heirlooms. Dan Woods spoke with Roxanne Dunn, the Special Collections and Archives librarian at Kent Library to learn more about the workshop.

The workshop, sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities, will be held on Thursday, April 6 beginning at 7 p.m. in Sadie's Place in Kent Library on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University. Registration is not required and the workshop is free.

Dan is a 1994 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He majored in radio and minored in political science. He spent three of his four years at Southeast working as a student announcer at KRCU – the beginning of his radio career.
