Going Public: Public Comment Period Open for Regional Transportation Plan

The Southeast Metropolitan Planning Organization (SEMPO) has released the 2021 – 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) for public comment.  The MTP is a long-range multimodal transportation plan which will serve to guide regional investments in transportation over the next 20 years for transportation projects in SEMPO’s planning area. The plan is updated every five years.

The 2021 – 2045 MTP is available for public viewing on the SEMPO website at https://southeastmpo.org/planning-documents.

Printed copies are available upon request at Cape Girardeau City Hall, 401 Independence Street, Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Jackson City Hall, 101 Court Street, Jackson, Missouri; and Cape Girardeau County Administrative Office, 1 Barton Square, Jackson, Missouri.  The public comment period closes on March 16, 2021.
