If you haven’t made Valentine’s plans yet, you’re a little behind. But there’s no reason to freak out. Take a couple minutes, and go to VisitCape.com/eat. Or if you’re looking for something, radical to do, head to Isle Casino on Saturday, February 16 at 6:30 p.m. for the KRCU Valentine’s Day Party. With a buffet, open bar, dancing and live music from That Eighties Band, it’s going to be wicked to the max. We’re stoked! Sorry. Had to get it out of my system.
The Parks and Recreation Department is hosting their annual father daughter dance on Saturday, February 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Osage Centre. This year’s theme is The Wizard of Oz. Girls are invited to don their ruby red slippers and follow the yellow brick road to a night of excitement and memories with their dashing escorts.
But boys don’t have to wait back at Auntie Em’s. They’re invited to a Mother Son Game Night on Saturday, February 23 from 6 to 9 at the SportsPlex. Instead of dancing the night away, this event boasts inflatables, relay races, Nerf wars and more – guaranteed to be a blast for both moms and their kiddos.
And of course, we can’t leave out the Community Dance and Social on Thursday, February 21 from 6 to 9 at the A.C. Brase Arena. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people, sway to music and bust a move or two.
