The Cape Girardeau Nature Center will host Snakes Alive! on May 27.
Snakes are often feared because they’re misunderstood. Do you wish you knew more about these secretive reptiles? Here’s your chance! Meet some of the Nature Center snakes, learn to identify common snakes and how to tell venomous from nonvenomous species, as well as hear about the benefits of having snakes around.
Snakes Alive! will take place on Saturday, May 27, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Nature Center in Cape Girardeau. This event is free and open to the public.
