Lori Voss: Photography will open Nov. 30, 2023, and be on display through Jan. 7, 2024, at Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum.

This exhibit is free and open to the public weekdays 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and weekends 1-4 p.m. On December 1, hours will be 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Crisp Museum will be closed Dec. 22 - Jan 1.

Voss has a great eye for capturing spontaneous moments in time. Much of her work draws the viewer in, whether it's a portrait, an international event, or an abstract design incorporating mundane objects. Both color and black and white photography will be displayed.

"I was drawn to photography the moment I produced my first black and white image in the darkroom," Voss says. "I started with a Pentax K1000 and liked it so much I bought two more; using one for black and white film, one for slides, and one for color film. Adjusting to digital has been an exciting challenge for me."
