Saturday, December 11, 2021, 10am-12noon, Come celebrate the winter holidays by creating your own, handprinted Christmas tree or menorah! Participants will get to employ vintage letterpress equipment, then use stencils & ink in a process called pochoir (pr: Poe-shwar) to decorate their printed tree or menorah, hand cut by SEMO students and faculty. Workshop cost is $20 + tax and includes all supplies necessary to create your own unique artwork that can be part of your holiday tradition for years to come. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult, and younger children will need close supervision around the equipment. Catapult accepts cash, credit, and check. The workshop takes place from 10am to 12pm at Catapult Press, Catapult Creative House, 612 Broadway in Cape Girardeau, MO. Parking available behind Catapult, and the Southeast Missouri State Shuttle has a stop out front.
