Ste. Genevieve County Democratic Club is excited to announce the upcoming Banned Book Auction, set to take place on October 1, 2023, from 2-5 PM at the Progress Sports Complex at the Ste. Genevieve County Community Center.

The event aims to celebrate the freedom to read and promote literacy within our community. Doors will open at 2 PM for refreshments and silent auction bidding. At 3 PM, featured speaker Brian Katcher will speak about his experiences as an author, followed by a Q&A. At 4 PM, silent bidding will close, and the live auction will begin, where attendees can bid on art, books, and themed baskets.
