Event Description

The Cape Girardeau County History Center exhibition series, "Things People in Cape Girardeau County Collect," continues with a new, private collection of artifacts from the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis. The large, three-case collection is owned by Dennis Gardner, and was started by his parents when he was a child. It includes glassware, gold and silver pieces, artistic prints, fair trinkets, paper ephemera, and every type of authentic memorabilia imaginable. This exhibit will be on display Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., now through October at the Cape Girardeau County History Center in Jackson. For more information, call or visit their Facebook page at Cape Girardeau County History Center.
