The Cape Girardeau County Rotary and Optimists Clubs will host the Tour de Cape on October 7.

The 24th annual bike tour starts in downtown Cape Girardeau and promotes bicycling for health, recreation, and transportation. The event will benefit the Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship program, which provides services to children with disabilities.

There will be several route options:
Routes of 15, 30, and 60 miles (hills and flats)
Routes of 22 or 32 miles (gravel)

The Tour de Cape will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, at the John Boardman Pavilion on Main Street in downtown Cape Girardeau. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m.
