Two-Minute Drill: Fast Break Lounge Returns for Select Games

Southeast Athletics

Due to popular demand from fans, the Fast Break Lounge at SEMO Basketball is coming back for select games again this year! At all three of the basketball doubleheaders during the semester break, the student section bleachers will be pushed back against the wall to create a premium courtside lounge and bar called the Fast Break Lounge.

The Southeast Athletic Department unveiled the premium seating area at Redhawk Basketball games last season at select games during the semester break, and it was a real hit with fans.

The Fast Break Lounge is a designated area right behind the basket where basketball fans can enjoy beer, wine, and other concession foods during the game. It is open to any fan with a game ticket, and features seating at pub height tables and ample standing room.

The lounge will be open for the next three home games, beginning Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019. All three home games are women & men doubleheaders against OVC opponents. Tomorrow, the women will tip-off vs. UT Martin at 2 p.m., followed by the men at 4:30.

In addition to the Fast Break Lounge, fans can enjoy more exciting promotions next week. Next Thursday, Jan. 10 will be the first of four SoutheastHEALTH T-Shirt Thursdays. All four Thursday home OVC doubleheaders will feature a t-shirt giveaway for fans, each with an exclusive design. And on Saturday, Jan. 12, the St. Louis Cardinals very own Fredbird will be at the game as the Murray State Racers come to town.
