KRCU, Municipal Bands and Ice Cream

KRCU will team up with the Cape Girardeau and Jackson Municipal Bands in July for two evenings of great music and free ice cream.

KRCU will attend the Jackson Municipal Band Concert on Thursday, July 11 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the band shell in the Jackson City Park. Steve Schaffner is scheduled as the special guest for the evening.

Then the following week, on Wednesday, July 17, KRCU staff and volunteers will be at the Cape Girardeau Municipal Band Concert. The Southeast Steel Drum Band will be featured in 'Christmas in July." The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Capaha Park Band Shell.

Attendees should bring a lawn chair to both concerts and come early for ice cream.
